First day: I joined the mobile tutorial only to get a bit more confused about the future of development of mobile games.
Manufacturers sell mobile phone devices and games boxes: O.k. There are not there to brings us cross platform and cross authoring. Are they not?
The Mobile gaming development environment is very confused when it comes to a business model. It seems to shift every month!
We content creators are not taken half as seriously by the industry as marketing and sales people are. And they all are in real need of fresh new content.
There is a gap. A huge gap there. A future for content developers to step in. But at which technological price?
A very promising future for serious games world-wide. Serious games are games that dare go beyond entertainment - into the realms of all industries: security, health, education, training, and much much more. More information on serious games can be found at: http://www.seriousgames.org/

Talking about dreams: Read more about Keita Takahashi and his dilemma while designing the Katamari Damacy Sequel. This man alone is a gaming creator. Keita came to the conference bear foot talking and mocking softly in Japanese. There was a silent wait between him and his translator, laughter and serious fun.
Some of his statements stroke me at the hart: 'You cannot design a game when you are not having fun'. More later about his presentation at The 'Grannies Award'!
A wisdom from Confucius inspired him to seak his own joys:
'Knowledge is not equal to Devotion. Devotion is not equal to joy'.
That is, to know what something is isn’t the same as actually liking it,
and to like it isn’t actually to enjoy it.
