This blog is dedicated to GeoDesign. And this fresh post is on our brand new M3D Glider for Google Earth.
You can place a comment here.
We are pre-launching the M3D Glider for Google Earth very soon. This application is AJAX-based COMET technology (AJAX: Asynchronous JavaScript And XML, COMET: the same with a new hype name to it) and makes it possible to integrate many Web 2.0 capabilities into the FREE Google Earth viewer - on real location!
AJAX provides the Google Earth user with a sleeker user experience from a point-and-click interface in 3D space - including 3D models of buildings and towns and Flickr.com geotagged photo databases.
All in Real time!
We are working very hard to release this new concept. Expect more posts on many related subjects as geo-intelligence, located based simulation, and 3D design in this section of the visualcuriosity.blogs: GeoDesign. Give us feed-back by all means!
Please give us your email address above to receive the M3D Glider blogletter on a regular basis over the mail.
Thanks and stay tuned!

M3D Glider Preview
This is a snapshot showing the interface of M3D Glider. M3D Glider is dispayed in your standard WEB view of Google Earth. M3D Glider synchronises your geo-located internet information - in real-time.
M3D Glider will be available for the Windows PC and Apple Macintosh platforms and will offer all clients some geo-editing functionality to publish custom web content on-demand via the M3D Glider server.
Many (custom) services are likely to follow but we concentrate first on delivering a simple, easy and serious fun application for all of you out there!
Stay tuned!
M3D Glider Team.

The M3D Glider is an integrated Google Earth viewer dedicated to Location Based simulation and AJAX-based web services.
The M3D Glider is powered by Mediality3D and GlobeGlider. We aim at creating a sleeker user experience from a point-and-click interface for all geo-information markets.
In AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML), the 'Asynchronous' means that you can keep on working and clicking on the interface while the content is being served and updated seamlessly (no waiting). Ajax applications typically support a very powerful user experience. It means that customers are able to handle many types of user actions (for example clicking on different objects or media) in Google Earth simultaneously with no loss of efficiency.
Mediality3D (NL) and GlobeGlider (D) joined in 2005 to research
design and development technology and create these innovative web application
services for advanced as well as casual Google Earth users.
M3D Glider's philosophy is to make easy 3D geo-simulation available for everyone.
Mediality is offering custom web services for business and enterprise along with the custom creation of 3D buidlings and websites on Google Earth.
M3D Glider subscription services is expected to jump-start in markets were geo-location is critical to learners, customers and users (from tourist resorts to industrial environmental structures, from architecture to location intelligence). You name your niche!
The linked web services will profit project development agencies, planners, design and architecture firms by displaying a complete evolutionary 3D model in Google Earth that is interactive and informative.
The experience is fun and very suitable for educational and presentation purposes. As of now we started supporting student projects with the M3D Glider functionality. More on these projects in upcoming news.

The M3D Glider integrates into your FREE Google Earth viewer (Mac and PC compatible).
Web services may include direct access to geo-referenced photography like Flickr.com giving the user access to 100.000+ geo-tagged photo's worldwide, The available real-time services are all dynamic in nature and use open source technology - so the growth is unlimited.

Also, customers may have direct access to one or more services 'on-location' (showing in Google Earth and synch with Google Maps). Additional applications include geo-referenced custom websites for Hotels reservation, Travel guides, Answers.com (Wikipedia) and the like.
The M3D Glider is expected to be launched very soon. Visualcuriosity will publish News topics, Tips and Tutorials for the GeoDesign and Location based simulation design community at large in this webblog on GeoDesign.
Google sis out to lead the world of innovation .

To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible. Do you agree?
